Falling Skies 2nd Watch – Live Streaming Aftershow Hosted By Wil Wheaton
The second season of Falling Skies premieres tonight at 9/8C only on TNT and it’s going to be better than ever. How do I know this? I was one of the lucky fans who got an early preview of the 2-hour season premiere through Klout perks and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the action, tension & drama are all cranked up to eleven this season!
I was given an early preview because I’m a Klout influencer in Falling Skies. I receive no additional benefits by talking about the perks I’ve received, I’m simply passing along information because I’m a fan and hope you are, too!
When you’re done watching tonight’s premiere you’ll still have more Falling Skies activity to participate in as TNT is bringing us Falling Skies 2nd Watch streaming live online and hosted by Wil Wheaton. Join in online at 11/10C to watch the live interviews with the cast and crew of Falling Skies. The interviews promise to dig a little deeper into the premiere episode you just finished watching. This is definitely worth staying up for.

Falling Skies Set Visit, Cast Interviews Pt3 – The Final 3 Videos!
As season 2 of Falling Skies draws near, I’ve got the final three videos for you from our great set visit in Vancouver. They’re not very long, but you get some fun insight into the actors’ personalities and what they like. Also, for good measure I have included the video of Todd Masters explaining how they balance practical and CGI effects to give the most realistic portrayal of the alien creature possible.
All the goodness after the jump.
Falling Skies Set Visit Part 3 – Meet The Cast!
As we enter part 3 of our grand set visit we get to meet the rest of the cast. Peter Shinkoda was a pleasant surprise showing up on the first day, then Connor Jessup surprises us by being our “tour guide” on day 2 for our visit to the skitter unit. I will never stop thanking Turner Broadcasting (TNT) and MAP Marketing & Incentives for creating the most incredible experience I’ve ever had.
Falling Skies Set Visit Part 2 – Meet The People Behind The Skitters
Continuing our incredible trip through the inner workings of one of the most compelling science fiction series ever to grace our television screens, we bring you to the actual set visits. Thanks again to Turner Broadcasting (TNT) and MAP Marketing & Incentives who created a truly unbelievable experience for us.
I simply cannot say enough about how well we were treated and how much TNT really cares about their fans. They pay more attention to online chatter than you would ever imagine and are extremely grateful to all of you for your support. So please remember that when you have something to say they’re actually listening to you!
Our first stop on our set visit was what is called the 2nd unit. This is where scenes involving the skitters and green screen work was being done for season 2. The man in the skitter suit is widely regarded as the hardest working man on the Falling Skies set. He wears this suit for hours on set and wore it the entire time we were there, all the while smiling and taking pictures with us. Above, he explains how the fine movements of the animatronic head are controlled via an RC remote control not unlike the kind used for model planes.
