Tonight’s episode entitled Young Bloods placed a lot of focus on the brothers Mason as well as a group of young people surviving on their own without any adults around. Maxim Knight as Matt started off the episode with a really riveting scene that had a bit of a surprise ending that you don’t really see coming. Read the rest of this entry
We’re getting very close to Falling Skies‘ 4th episode of the exciting 2nd season. If you think you’ve seen impressive episodes before, you’re in for a real treat tonight. I’m especially excited as I got to see a small part of this episode as it was being filmed and I think what I saw is going to be an extremely important, and creepy, segment to add to the mythos of Falling Skies.
This episode will shift the focus to the younger members of the cast a bit more. If you look closely at the picture above you may just recognize that hair! For a lot more than this little tease I’ve given you including a preview video of tonight’s episode, click on over to Three If By Space for a review of this episode.
Remember, Falling Skies airs Sunday at 10/9C only on TNT. And as always, don’t forget that immediately following the broadcast you can watch the streaming interview show, 2nd Watch, at the Falling Skies website. It begins streaming at 10/9C, but don’t worry if Falling Skies airs later for you, the episodes of Falling Skies 2nd Watch are still there to stream at your convenience so you don’t miss a thing.
The season 2 premiere of Falling Skies has aired its blockbuster 2-hour episode to what is shaping up to be record numbers. If you watched it you know the show has gotten even better than it was last season with more action and more intricate mysteries about why the aliens are here. Those 2 hours literally flew by with great writing, remarkable special effects and superb acting.
Now that we’ve all finally gotten our Falling Skies fix after that long wait, how about some insightful recaps of the 2-hour premiere? As I’ve said before, there’s no better place to go for Falling Skies news than Three If By Space. My good friend Robert already has recaps of both thrilling hours on the site, so head on over and check out his excellent work.
Each week the Falling Skies website will be streaming a live broadcast of their new after-show, Falling Skies 2nd Watch hosted by Wil Wheaton. You’ll get to watch the cast & creators answer questions regarding the episode that just aired along with questions submitted by fans. Check it out and submit a question. Who knows? Maybe yours will be answered live by one of your favorite actors!
Don’t worry if you can’t be online when the after-show airs live. The episodes will be available a bit later for streaming at your convenience, too. Those crazy kids over at TNT seems to think of everything don’t they?
By the way, we’re on Twitter!

There are several scenes from episodes that will air in season 2 that have never been seen publicly anywhere before now. I know you want to see this and I could embed it here, but why duplicate effort when my favorite website, Three If By Space, already has it waiting for you?

As season 2 of Falling Skies draws near, I’ve got the final three videos for you from our great set visit in Vancouver. They’re not very long, but you get some fun insight into the actors’ personalities and what they like. Also, for good measure I have included the video of Todd Masters explaining how they balance practical and CGI effects to give the most realistic portrayal of the alien creature possible.
All the goodness after the jump.
On Wednesday May 09, 2012 a select group of Falling Skies supporters and press were fortunate enough to be invited to meet with some of the stars of the show. They had the opportunity to speak with several actors from Falling Skies along with some of the wonderful behind-the-scenes talent who make the show such a success. My friend and fellow Three If By Space writer, Nicole Sixx, has some great reporting for fans of the show along with some juicy video clips. So hurry over to read and watch her exciting article, Falling Skies Press Junket at ZOIC Studios only at ThreeIfBySpace.net!

If you liked the show last season, this new season will literally blow you away. If you were one of the few who wasn’t sure about Falling Skies, season 2 is going to change your mind for the better. There’s more action, the special effects are even better (if that’s possible as they were near perfect in season 1), and the fight grows more intense.
So hurry over to Three If By Space to read “All New Look at Falling Skies Season 2″ and see the exclusive new video from Access Hollywood. You will not be disappointed.

What you might not know is this isn’t a site run by people who get paid for their efforts. As one of the newest contributors to the site I can attest to the fact that it’s a site run by fans, for fans and we all volunteer our time and efforts toward sharing our love for the genre with the world. We live all around the US and most of us have never met in person, but we share this common passion that brings us together in this effort.
Please consider pledging something to the TiBS Kickstarter Project or donate directly through PayPal here. This year we will be going to Comic Con for the first time and we want to do a promotional event at SDCC to hand out shirts for our site to people spreading the word about online media, and our site. The money raised will be used to pay the artists donating their time to our shirt designs, hosting costs to continue running the site and for the cost of printing up the shirts we will be giving away at SDCC.
